Job Description
Delta Hotels by Marriott, Bristol City Centre is looking for a Commis Chef to support senior chefs in delivering quality dishes while maintaining hygiene and food safety standards.
Responsibilities- Preparing ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping and storing food
- Washing and peeling fresh fruits and vegetables
- Weighing, measuring and mixing ingredients
- Preparing and cooking food according to recipes and quality and presentation standards
- Monitoring food quality while preparing food
- Setting up and breaking down workstations
- Maintaining all Health & Safety and Service Standards
We are looking for a Commis Chef who has a genuine passion for food and cooking, along with a strong interest in developing their culinary skills. You will have a basic understanding of food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment as well as knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
