We have a fantastic opportunity for a Hospitality and Events Manager to join an extremely successful team at a client location in Cork City. You will be working with a high-profile tech company delivering a 5 catering and hospitality service.

The Hospitality and Events Manager will be responsible for managing a busy catering and event schedule across the campus, while leading and developing a hospitality team. This role involves coordinating high-end events, building strong client relationships, and ensuring outstanding service delivery at all times. Flexibility is required as event schedules may vary.
Job Responsibilities- Manage high-end hospitality events, ensuring all parties involved are communicated with and fully informed of their role in each event
- Create and send quotes in advance of catering events, while building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Deliver a strong customer-focused service, ensuring excellence in all aspects of hospitality delivery
- Ensure full compliance with HACCAP and all health and safety regulations
- Lead, train and motivate the hospitality team, fostering a positive and productive working environment
- Manage a busy and varied hospitality and event schedule across the site
- Support and manage employee relations in a professional and constructive manner
- Demonstrate a genuine passion for hospitality through leadership, service delivery and client engagement
- Upload and approve employee timecards on the payroll system accurately and in a timely manner
- Create and manage team rosters to align with business needs, ensuring all updates are communicated clearly and promptly
- Previous hospitality experience essential (minimum 1 year)
- Previous administrative experience (minimum 1 year)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Solid knowledge of food hygiene standards and HACCAP requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Highly service-driven with a strong client focus
- Excellent attention to detail
- Commercial awareness and understanding of business needs
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
- Proven people management capability
- A proactive attitude with a passion for continuous improvement
