Job Description

Reporting to the Care Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating a professional yet relaxed atmosphere in the dining room, ensuring residents and visitors receive efficient food service.

About You

Our ideal Hospitality Assistant will possess the following skills and values:

  • Caring nature
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility and adaptability to residents' needs
  • Experience in catering service in a similar environment is desirable but not essential
  • Deliver prepared food from the kitchen to dining areas, serving meals in a friendly manner
  • Ensure refreshments are always available
  • Set up tables, tidy work areas, and prepare food areas for the next service, maintaining high hygiene standards

Experience:

  • Experience in busy restaurant, hospitality, or catering environments is preferred
  • Good communication and customer service skills to serve visitors and elderly residents effectively
  • Team player, self-motivated, proactive, and flexible
