Job Description

Reporting to the Care Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for creating a professional yet relaxed atmosphere in the dining room, ensuring residents and visitors receive efficient food service.

About You

Our ideal Hospitality Assistant will possess the following skills and values:

  • Caring nature
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to work both as part of a team and independently
  • Flexibility and adaptability to residents' needs
  • Experience in catering services in a similar environment is desirable but not essential
  • Delivering prepared food from kitchen to dining areas and serving meals in a friendly manner
  • Ensuring refreshments are always available
  • Setting up tables, tidying work areas, and preparing food areas for next service to maintain high hygiene standards
Experience
  • Experience in busy restaurant, hospitality, or catering environments preferred
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills for serving visitors and elderly residents
  • Team player, self-motivated, proactive, and flexible
