£13.50 per hour, annual leave entitlement and bonus scheme available

Would you like to become part of a small friendly and supportive team and have the opportunity to run our amazing brand new catering kitchen? We expect applicants to have experience and bring new ideas to the role. As this is a part time role it may suit someone who is looking to reduce their working hours. As well as the regular part time role we will need the applicant to assist with small functions and the occasional wedding.

We are a family friendly, flexible team and the right candidate will be in charge of a 12 month old beautifully designed commercial kitchen with all the modern appliances needed.

Here's an idea of what your shift pattern will be:

Mon: 1pm until 9
Weds: 4pm until 9
Fri: 1pm until 9

Your key responsibilities will include:

Preparing high-quality food that brightens our customers day
Working in a small team to prepare and serve delicious meals
Seeking opportunities to improve our menus and food services
Recording and reducing food waste levels
Supporting with all kitchen organisation, stocking, and cleaning responsibilities
Complying with Food Handling & Hygiene standards
Complying with Health & Safety regulations.

Our ideal Cook will:

Be passionate about food and customer service
Have experience in a similar role
Be a strong team player with excellent communication skills
Have a good understanding of Food Handling & Hygiene standards
Have a flexible approach to working
