Hon. Treasurer for volunteer run museum - great opportunity to make a difference

The Trustees of Ramsey Rural Museum CIO are recruiting for an essential role on the Board of Trustees. This is a voluntary position, reporting to the Board of Trustees.

Role summary:

1. Ensure the charity fulfills its purposes for the public benefit by providing financial oversight and strategic direction to the Board, enabling trustees to manage financial planning, budgeting, and overall strategy.
2. Comply with the museum's governing document, legal requirements, and charity commission regulations. Responsible for official accounts in collaboration with finance professionals.
3. Act in the charity's best interests and manage resources responsibly by overseeing financial monitoring and reporting regularly to the Board.
