Homestay Recruiter

EF (Education First) Torquay is seeking a friendly, self motivated and outgoing individual to work Tuesdays from 15:00 - 19:00 & Saturdays full day as part of our Homestay team. You will be assisting in all aspects of our host family recruitment process but mainly telemarketing and recruitment stalls.

You should be able to take initiative, catch people's attention, and like working in a fun and fast moving team.

Start Date: 3rd February 2026

Pay: £13.00 per hour

Hours: 12 hours a week

Location: Torquay

Responsibilities

• Act as a service minded and enthusiastic team player, driven by results
• Take a proactive approach to achieving recruitment targets
• Communicate with host families via meetings, phone, email, and face to face interactions
• Conduct telemarketing and lead generation activities
• Maintain and update information using the CRM system
• Participate in fairs, events, and street action stalls

Requirements

• Friendly and able to quickly build a rapport
• Confident on the phone and in person
• Happy to work outdoors come rain or shine
• Committed and reliable
