Location: Rhyl (Crescent Court & Bruton Park)
Salary: £27,020 pro rata
Hours: 25 hours per week, nights (8:30pm - 8:30am)
Shifts: Wednesday & Friday nights

Make a real difference where it matters mostAt ClwydAlyn, we're on a mission: Together to Beat Poverty. As a Homeless Support Officer, you'll support young people and families experiencing homelessness to rebuild their lives and move towards independence.
This is a hands on, people focused role where you'll be a consistent, supportive presence overnight-helping residents feel safe, valued, and empowered.
What you'll be doing- Building positive, trusting relationships with residents
- Supporting independent living skills (cooking, cleaning, budgeting, tenancy management)
- Encouraging access to education, volunteering, apprenticeships, and employment
- Helping residents connect with key services (healthcare, mental health, benefits, substance misuse support)
- Creating a safe, calm and supportive environment overnight
- Keeping accurate records using IT systems
- Crescent Court: Supporting young people (16-25) experiencing homelessness
- Bruton Park: Supporting parents and their children to build stable futures
You don't need to have done this exact job before-but you do need the right mindset:
- Empathy and understanding of people facing homelessness
- Resilience and the ability to handle challenging situations
- Strong communication and relationship building skills
- A proactive, self motivated approach
- Basic IT skills (training provided)
Relevant experience or qualifications in housing, social care, or youth work are helpful-but not essential.
