Homecare Nurse Manager (Paediatric & Community Services)
Role OverviewCare Connect Group Ireland are seeking an experienced and motivated Homecare Nurse Manager with Paediatric and Community Nursing experience to lead and support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care within the homecare setting. The successful candidate will oversee the coordination and clinical management of care packages for children's older persons and young people with complex healthcare/ Disabilities needs, ensuring safe, effective, and compassionate care within the community.
Key Responsibilities- Manage and coordinate homecare services for paediatric and community-based clients.
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop personalised care plans.
- Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to nursing teams.
- Ensure compliance with NMBI standards, company policies, and clinical governance requirements.
- Monitor patient outcomes and review care plans to ensure the highest quality of care.
- Liaise with families, hospital teams, GPs, public health nurses, schools, and multidisciplinary professionals.
- Support recruitment, onboarding, training, competency assessments, and performance management of nursing staff.
- Ensure accurate documentation, incident reporting, and risk management practices.
- Participate in service development, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Provide on-call clinical support as required.
- Tutor experience or train the trainer qualification (need for City & Guilds)
- Active NMBI registration.
- Minimum 3 years' post-registration nursing experience.
- Demonstrated experience in Paediatric Nursing and Community Care.
- Experience supporting children with complex healthcare needs.
- Strong clinical assessment, care planning, and case management skills.
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or management experience desirable.
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
- Right to work in Ireland (no sponsorship available).
- Willingness to undergo Garda Vetting.
- Experience working with disability services and community healthcare teams desirable
