Home Visiting Salaried GP, Maidstone (South) Maidstone

£99,000 per annum 6 weeks leave + excellent study leave + NHS pension

Join a vibrant, forward-thinking partnership in a semi-rural area of Maidstone. The practice is based in a state-of-the-art facility with amenities including a wellbeing garden, café, library, and social break-out areas. They emphasize outstanding patient care and GP wellbeing.

Location: Maidstone (South)

Your role:

This role is ideal for a GP with a special interest in elderly care. You will work alongside another Home Visiting GP in a job-share, leading a small team of Paramedics and Pharmacists to provide care to residents of 1 Nursing Home and 3 Care Homes (total 100 beds). Your responsibilities include auditing and managing home visiting requests, coordinating care with clinical teams, and assessing prescribing needs.

The role does not include standard practice clinics; after completing visits and ward rounds, you may assist with signing prescriptions and managing pathology results. No duty doctor shifts or extended hours are involved.

  • 2-3 sessions per week (Monday-Wednesday)
  • Morning clinical sessions, afternoon home visits
  • Alternatively, a stand-alone session between 10:00 am and 2:30/3:00 pm
