Holiday Cottage Cleaner

We're looking for a Holiday Cottage Cleaner to prepare our popular holiday cottages in the Peak District close to the Longshaw Estate.

Hours: You'll work 12 hours per week. Typical working hours are between 10:00am and 4:00pm, though some cottages only require 4 hours to clean. Working days vary depending on bookings; shifts can be any day from Monday to Saturday.

Interview date: 21st May 2026

Internally within the National Trust, the role is titled "Holidays Operation Assistant."

What it's like to work here

You'll join a friendly team in the Peak District, helping to prepare holiday cottages to a high standard of presentation. You'll be responsible for turning over several cottages in this area on changeover days.

You'll ensure each cottage is thoroughly cleaned, well presented and welcoming. You'll also look out for any issues, report needed repairs or odd jobs, and replace broken items from the store supplies if necessary.

Full Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is provided for all teams, with additional measures in place to protect staff.
