A welcoming and community-focused 3FE primary school in Redbridge is seeking an ambitious and confident HLTA to join their supportive team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is passionate about primary education and eager to play a key role within a friendly and inclusive school environment.

The successful HLTA will work across the primary phase, confidently covering lessons during PPA time and in the absence of the class teacher, ensuring high expectations and continuity of learning across the classroom. The school is looking for a proactive HLTA with excellent behaviour management skills who can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and maintain a calm and purposeful learning environment.

Alongside whole-class teaching responsibilities, the HLTA will also support children with additional learning needs, delivering targeted interventions and providing small group or one-to-one support where required. The ideal HLTA will be adaptable, nurturing and committed to ensuring every child is supported to reach their full potential.

The ideal HLTA will:

• Hold a Level 4 qualification or above
• Have previous experience covering classes independently
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills
• Have experience supporting pupils with SEND and additional needs
• Be confident, organised and enthusiastic about primary education
