HLTA - Dewsbury

About the role:

A warm, welcoming and community focused primary school in Dewsbury is seeking an enthusiastic HLTA to join their supportive team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves helping children thrive and is ready to make a real impact. The role can offer up to full time hours, with flexibility available.

As an HLTA, you'll play a key part in delivering high quality learning across the school. You'll work closely with teachers, lead small groups, and occasionally cover whole classes. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety, responsibility and being a valued member of a nurturing school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supporting teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
• Leading small group interventions to boost progress
• Delivering planned lessons when required
• Providing tailored support to pupils with varying needs
• Helping create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment
• Working collaboratively with staff, parents and external professionals

Pre requisites:

• HLTA qualification is essential
• Experience working in a primary school setting
• Strong communication and organisational skills
• A positive, proactive and child centred approach
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
