Are you ready to make a meaningful impact in the lives of older adults and their families? We're offering an exciting opportunity for a Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologist to join our dynamic and supportive Older Adult Psychology Service in NHS Highland.

This newly created role is central to enhancing access to Psychological Therapy (PT), ensuring timely and effective intervention while contributing to the sustainability of our service. As part of this vital team, you'll help implement the Scottish Government's 2023 National Specification for Psychological Therapies and Interventions, shaping care that puts patients first.

Your Role:
•Work autonomously within professional guidelines, while collaborating closely with our expert team.
•Lead the development of new services, ensuring person-centred delivery for older adults and individuals with suspected dementia.
•Provide evidence-based psychological therapies across community and inpatient settings, including dedicated clinical time within NHS Highland's specialist mental health wards.
•Deliver direct and indirect psychological interventions addressing stress and distress in dementia and mental health conditions.

Clinical experience in inpatient mental health settings and/or in stress and distress in dementia would be beneficial.
