Higher Level Teaching Assistant

Overview

Axcis Education are working closely to support a primary school in Torbay, who are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant to support predominantly across KS2. This is a full time position which requires someone with previous school based experience as a HLTA, or similar experience.

Pay and Hours

Pay: £105-£125 a day

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 3.30pm

Start date: As Soon As Possible

About the role

You will be tasked with covering PPA across the school in different classes. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include supporting small groups and individual pupils with SEND needs, assisting with classroom activities, supporting with learning on a 1:1 basis, promoting positive behaviour and contributing to a calm, nurturing learning environment.
