Specialising in high-risk industries, including renewable energy (wind), oil and gas, maritime, utilities, construction, and facilities management.

At RelyOn UK, we prepare professionals for some of the most safety-critical and demanding industries. We are now looking for a full time High Voltage Electrical Instructor to join our team at the RelyOn Training Centre.

Your role
  • Deliver both theoretical and practical high quality training within electrical systems, including HV and cable work.
  • Ensure safety and compliance with relevant procedures during all hands on training activities.
  • Mentor and support participants through challenging exercises and scenarios.
  • Work closely with clients to design training that meets real world operational needs.
Who we're looking for

We're looking for someone who:

  • Has hands on experience with electrical installations, HV systems and cables.
  • Is confident, and have a passion for safety, training and workforce development.
  • Can communicate technical knowledge in a clear, engaging way.
  • Values precision and safety in every task.
  • Has experience in Electrical Safe Systems of Work, are you or have you been an Authorised or Senior Authorised Person Electrical
Qualifications & requirements
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Working knowledge of safe systems of work for HV and various types of switchgear.
  • Relevant experience as a HV Authorised Person.
  • Minimum Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Experience within the Health Service or Defence Estates, completing and issuing switching schedules and permits to work.
  • Level 3 Assessor Qualification (TAQA, A1 or equivalent).
  • Level 3 Teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET or equivalent).
  • HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
