Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in heavy vehicle maintenance and repair, demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to delivering high-quality service. This role is crucial in ensuring that our fleet operates efficiently and safely, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Duties
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance on heavy goods vehicles (HGVs) to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Maintaining Fleet compliance through regular inspections
Preparing and present vehicles for MOT testing
Attend vehicle breakdowns
Collaborate with team members to ensure a clean and organised workshop environment.
Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
Proven experience as an HGV Technician.
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Repair and Maintenance (for HGV Mechanics)
LGV C+E licence beneficial not essential
Be able to work to their own initiative, as well as within a team
This job can come with accommodation/relocation package.
