Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to assist in maintaining our fleet of 26 Class 2 vehicles based in Lutterworth.
Responsibilities
Maintenance & Servicing: Routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
Diagnostics: Using Jaltest, TEXA, and manual checks to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic faults.
Major Repairs: Overhauling engines, gearboxes, braking systems (ABS/EBS), steering, and suspension.
MOT Prep: Preparing and presenting vehicles for annual MOT inspections.
Compliance: Accurately documenting job cards and safety sheets for audit purposes.
Roadside Support: Responding to occasional breakdowns to keep our fleet moving.
Skills
Experience: Proven background in HGV maintenance and repair.
Licensing: A full UK Driving Licence is essential. A HGV Class 2 licence is highly desirable.
