HGV Technician

Location: Bristol

Salary: Up to £50,000 Basic (DOE)

Shift: Day Shifts

We are currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated HGV Technician to join our team in Bristol. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Level 3 qualified technician looking to work day shifts with excellent earning potential and ongoing training and development.

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a fleet of HGVs
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently and to a high standard
• Undertake vehicle inspections in line with DVSA standards
• Prepare vehicles for MOT
• Complete relevant paperwork and job cards accurately
• Ensure all work is carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations

• Level 3 NVQ (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair - essential
• Previous experience working on HGVs
• Class 1 (C+E) licence desirable
• IRTEC accreditation desirable
• LOLER certification desirable
• Tachograph certification desirable
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Basic salary up to £50,000 depending on experience
