HGV Technician

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assembly, maintenance, and repair of heavy goods vehicles and Taxi inspections

Duties

MOT and servicing
TAXI inspections
Conduct mechanical repairs, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Read and interpret schematics to understand vehicle systems and layouts.
Carry out regular inspections and preventative maintenance on HGVs.
Document all repairs and maintenance work performed on vehicles accurately.

Qualifications

Proven experience as an HGV Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair complex issues.
NVQ Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance / City & Guilds Heavy Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
Full UK Driving License
Ideal but not essential - LGV Category C license
