HGV Truck & Trailer Mechanic

R J Car and Commercial Ltd are a family ran business needing an extra NVQ qualified mechanic due to increase in work load and expansion. We have a full time post available as a HGV mechanic to join our team as soon as possible.

Our unit is located within Oldbury B69 and is only a few minutes drive from the M5 with good connections around.

You will be expected to carry out jobs both mobile & workshop depending on the level of work

Working hours will be Monday to Friday 9hr working days. We try to be as flexible as possible but will discuss this with the right applicant. We do need someone who can work some weekends to help us cover busy working times and also others annual leave.

We are looking for a experienced, enthusiastic HGV mechanic who is NVQ qualified. You must be able to communicate with others and enjoy both lone working and working as a supportive team. You must have a driving licence and having a HGV licence will be preferable but not essential. It would also be preferable if you were diagnostic trained but again training can be provided for the right applicant.

We have very good working relationships with our customers and expect this to be continued with a new team member. We very often go above and beyond for our customers and would expect you to do the same.

Our day to day work consists of general HGV repairs and maintenance (but, no two days are the same)
