HGV Mechanic

HGV and Plant Mechanic wanted. Must have HGV experience and to be able to work alone, with others and use own initiative.

Fleet of 8 HGV vehicles that need 6 weekly inspections & brake testing, alongside repair and maintaining these vehicles. There are also commercial vehicles and company vehicles that need maintaining too. Must be able to fix not just fit new parts.

Most work is carried out in a modern workshop with good equipment including a new Jaltest, new brake tester, weims and vehicle lift.

Monday to Friday 8-5PM with the option to work Saturdays 8:30-12PM when required. Pay is dependant on experience. Company van available to the right person.

No official qualifications are needed and plenty of opportunities to gain qualifications within the company.

HGV class 1 license required as you will be taking vehicles for MOT.
