HGV Mechanic

TD Recruitment are currently looking for skilled HGV Mechanics to join our client in Musselburgh, EH21 area.

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain HGVs to DVSA standards
Perform routine servicing and inspections
Fault finding using diagnostic equipment
Replace or repair faulty parts and ensure roadworthiness
Complete job cards and service records accurately
Work independently and as part of a team in a busy workshop

Requirements:

Proven experience as an HGV mechanic/technician
NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (preferred)
Valid HGV Licence (Class 1 or 2) is a plus
Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
Own tools preferred
Must have right to work in the UK

As soon as possible, Monday to Friday, long term work for the right applicants
