HGV Class 2 Driver (Stores Duties) - Full Time Magherafelt

Riada are recruiting on behalf of a leading employer in Magherafelt for an HGV Class 2 Driver to join their busy Supply Chain & Logistics team. This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on individual to take on a varied role combining driving, stock control, and warehouse duties, ensuring materials and products are delivered safely and efficiently to meet operational needs.

About the Role:

• £Competitive salary
• Monday & Tuesday: 6.45am - 4.45pm, Wednesday & Thursday: 7.45am - 4.45pm, Friday: 7.45am - 1.00pm
• Full-time, Temporary Ongoing, Immediate start available
• Full training provided

What You'll Be Doing:

• Receiving deliveries, unloading goods and recording traceability information.
• Inspecting incoming goods to ensure quality and accuracy.
• Checking for damaged or missing items and reporting discrepancies.
• Storing stock correctly and maintaining organised warehouse locations.
• Moving stock by hand, lifting equipment or forklift where required.
• Transporting materials and stock between sites using a Class 2 vehicle.
• Updating stock and inventory information on computerised systems.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and completing stock counts.
• Working in accordance with health, safety and environmental standards.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Criteria:

• Minimum 6 months' experience in a warehouse, stores, dispatch or similar environment.
• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence.
• FLT Licence and experience operating forklifts.
• Strong numerical skills with a high level of accuracy.
• Good IT skills, including experience using ERP, inventory or stock control systems.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility to work additional hours when required to support operational needs
