HGV Driver (C+E) - Monday to Friday

Full-Time Permanent Based in Neasden, NW100AB

Grady Doors UK, a part of the Grady Window Manufacturers Group, founded in 1979, has grown from a small, family run business into a market leader in the door and window manufacturing industry across Ireland and the UK.

We are looking for a professional and reliable HGV Driver (C+E) to join our growing team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of an established business, operating a modern, well-maintained vehicle with regular weekday routes.

The Role

Based from our depot in Neasden (NW100AB, or Derby (DE248EN), you'll be responsible for delivering high-quality door sets to customers across England, primarily within London and the Greater London area.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Safe and timely delivery of palletised door sets to customer sites.
• Operating a Moffett Mounty and electric forklift to unload deliveries (full training provided if required).
• Completing daily vehicle checks and ensuring compliance with all road transport, health & safety, and company procedures.
• Providing excellent customer service and representing the company professionally at all times.
• Occasionally travelling to our Head Office in the West of Ireland to provide holiday cover (infrequent).

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys providing excellent service.

You'll need:

• A valid C+E (Class 1) HGV licence.
• A valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
• At least 1 year's HGV driving experience.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional, courteous manner.
• A reliable, organised approach with strong attention to detail.
• The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Construction industry experience would be an advantage but is not essential.

• Typically half-day Fridays, subject to workload.
• Your own clean, modern sleeper cab with facilities designed to make overnight stays as comfortable as possible.
• A well-equipped Neasden depot for London deliveries, including modern kitchen and shower facilities.
• Full training on Moffett Mounty operation if required.
• A permanent role with a well-established and supportive company.
• £16.50 per hour and we will guarantee a minimum of 48 hours per week
• 28 Days Holidays per year, including Bank Holidays.
• £100 bonus per month, for 100% attendance, no accident, points and teamwork.
• Weekend work is an exception, but there may be an occasional need to work, one day of the weekend.
