HGV Driver- AM Closing Date: 25th August 2026, 5 pm

Permanent / Full Time Mon-Fri min 40 hours

Starting time: Portadown 6am or Belfast 5:30am

Base Location: 91 Moy Road, Portadown and 62-66 Duncrue Street, Belfast

We are currently looking for full time HGV Drivers (C) to join our busy teams at our site in Portadown and Belfast. As a Driver you will be required to complete multi drop deliveries and collections throughout NI. The Driver will also be required to collect and move commercial containers when required.

As a AM shift Drivers, you will start at 6am based from Portadown site, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required, on a rota basis.

As a AM shift Drivers, you will start at 5:30am based from Belfast site, Monday to Friday, with Saturdays required, on a rota basis.

• Ensure excellent customer service skills that support the RiverRidge Brand
• Ensure Health & Safety adherence at all times
• Complete vehicle checks in line with Operating licence procedures, reporting any defects to the Transport Office (both electronically and verbally)
• Follow all regulations relating to driver's hours and safe operation of heavy goods vehicles
• Working collaboratively with the transport team to ensure excellent operational service is maintained, and continually improved
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
• Undertake all necessary training, & cooperate with the security clearance process as required
• Any other duties as delegated by the Transport Department
• Must hold a valid HGV licence - Category 'C',
• Must hold a Digital Tachograph card and Full Driver CPC
• Full UK Driving Licence (Max of 6 penalty points)
• Security Clearances
• Ability to undertake manual work
• Flexible approach to working hours is required in relation to finish times, weekends, and bank holidays

• Good Communication skills (both verbal and written)
• Good Knowledge of driver's hours, rules, and regulations
• Minimum of 6 months HGV driving experience
• Previous experience working in the waste industry

• Competitive Hourly Rate - Competitive Hourly Rate - £16.22ph
