Day Work

We are looking for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our client's team working out of Heysham on an ongoing basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HGV Class 1 Driver looking for work through the week. This work mainly involves dock collection at Heysham. General haulage experience would be beneficial.

What We Offer a HGV Class 1 Driver:

From £17.50 per hour

Overtime rates after 8 hours

Key Responsibilities for a HGV Class 1 Driver:

Deliver goods safely and efficiently to delivery points

Accurately complete delivery paperwork in line with company and legal requirements

Adhere to all Health & Safety, transport regulations, and working time directives

Represent the company professionally at all times

Experience & Qualifications for a HGV Class 1 Driver:

Valid Class 1 licence, CPC, and Digi Card

Minimum 12 months Class 1 experience preferred

No more than 6 penalty points on your licence

No major endorsements (IN, DR, DU, CD)
