HGV Driver

Join our team at Chandlers Building supplies, a respected independent builder's merchant serving the Southeast since 1993. We're expanding our delivery team at our Brighton Branch and are looking for a dependable HGV Driver to help us continue delivering excellent service to our trade and retail customers.

The Role

We are currently seeking a skilled HGV Driver to join our team at Brighton Branch Chandlers Brighton . The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across various locations.

Specific Experience & Skills Required

• To transport goods and materials to designated locations
• Ensure safe and timely delivery of products
• Adhere to all relevant traffic laws and regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries and vehicle maintenanceAssist with loading and unloading of goods when necessary

Requirements

• HIAB Class 2 licence preferred
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
• Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Hours

Week 1: Monday to Friday, 07:30 - 16:30

Week 2: Monday to Friday 07:30-16:30, Saturday 08:00-12:00
