HGV Class 3 DRIVER

We are currently seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team based in Reading. The job is the delivery of Pallets/Kitchens/White Goods/Shower Screens in the South of England. Manual handling is required so a good level of fitness required. Routines will vary and you will work with a 2nd man when required.

Excellent customer service skills required as dealing face to face with customers.

Shifts are generally 12 hours Monday to Friday from 6am - 6pm

Responsibilities:
- Safely drive a commercial vehicle to transport goods to designated locations
- Load and unload cargo ensuring its safety and security during transit
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving

Qualifications:
- Hold a valid commercial driving licence (Category C)
- Proven experience as a delivery driver or truck driver
- Familiarity with box/curtain sided lorries and securing loads
- Excellent driving skills with a clean driving record
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
