Job Description Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Porter/Driver with a Full Class 2 Driving License to join our Johnson's team in our Edinburgh location.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and loading/unloading a range of goods from furniture to high valued artwork. You'll be part of a team delivering a premium service, loading and unloading, ensuring great care is put into the safe journey of our client's valued items and your colleagues.

Requirements Skills, Qualifications andLicences

• HGVClass 2 Driving Licence (essential)
  
• Teamleading and/or supervisory experience (preferred)
  
• Knowledgeof established legal tachograph procedures (essential)
  
• ADR- Packages (preferred)

DailyResponsibilities

• Vehicledaily checks of your allocated HGV Class 2/7.5t /3.5tvehicle.
  
• Ensuringthe vehicle is equipped with all the relevant specialist equipment required for the days operation.
  
• Liftingand packing a range of Laboratory equipment, furniture, fine art and more.
  
• Takinggoods in or out of storage.
  
• Liftingand moving loads in excess of 25kg.
  
• Ensuringthe highest of standards are met when on site.
  
• Responsiblefor your health and safety or you and colleagues.
  
• Alwaysdeliver excellent customer care and service.
• Complyingwith all company and health and safety procedures.
  

Enhanced Criminal Record Check:

You will be required to undertake an "Enhanced Criminal Record Check" or "Baseline Security Check" which will involve providing three years of address and employment history, valid ID and a character reference.
