HGV Class 1 Multi Drop Driver

We are are looking for a Day Shift HGV Class 1 Driver ideally with multi-drop experience. This role involves delivering and collecting loads within the local area. There will also be occasions when you will have some longer distance runs.

Job Requirements:

Class 1 Driving Licence with a current CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
Thorough understanding of driving regulations.
Have a good standard of English, be able to communicate with the depot and customers and understand both written and verbal instructions.
Excellent customer service skills as you will be promoting our company at all times.
Computer literate as using the in house track and trace equipment is a requirement of the job.
You need to be punctual, reliable, have a reasonable level of physical fitness as some deliveries require the use of a pallet truck (electric or manual) and vehicle tail lift.

You will be located within a reasonable travelling distance of the depot.

We will also consider newly qualified drivers with the right aptitude.

The role is full time, covering a shift pattern including Monday to Friday and the occasional Saturday morning on a rota basis. Flexible in line with the demands of the business.

Pay: From £14.50 per hour
