HGV Class 1 General Haulage (Full Time)

Overview:

Due to growth We are seeking a skilled and reliable Class 1 Driver to join our team.

You will be responsible for transporting goods and materials to various locations across the UK. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in commercial driving .

Duties:

- Safely operate a truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while on the road

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

- Nights out may be required and paid extra.

Skills:

- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

- Proven experience as a truck driver or delivery driver

- Drivers CPC valid card

- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety standards

- Excellent time management skills to meet delivery deadlines

- Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members
