HGV Class 1 Driver tramper

Pawson Transport are a family run business based near Rotherham. Due to continued growth, we are looking to recruit HGV class 1 drivers.

This position is primarily tramping Monday to Friday. Other shifts are available.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and safety-conscious HGV class 1 driver to join our busy transport operation. You will be responsible for making scheduled deliveries while maintaining our high standard of safety, on-time delivery, and customer service.

Key Responsibilities

Complete operations safely and on schedule.
Conduct thorough daily vehicle walk-around checks and report any defects immediately.
Ensure all loads are safely secured and unloaded in line with health and safety regulations.
Accurately maintain digital tachograph records and log delivery documentation.
Adhere strictly to Working Time Regulations and DVSA guidelines.

Requirements

Licence: Full UK Class C+E (Class 1) licence.
Cards: Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
Experience: Minimum 12 months of commercial HGV Class 1 driving experience preferred.
Attitude: Punctual, reliable, and professional when representing the company on the road.
