HGV Class 1 Driver Nights

HGV Class 1 Driver Trunking - Severnside

We are currently recruiting for HGV Class 1 drivers on an Temp On-Going basis at our busy Severnside depot. The role consists of deliveries to NDCs, RDCs and trunking work. MMID is part of a well-established and well known international dairy company with modern and well looked after fleet.

Immediate starts for successful candidates after passing assessment and induction.

Shifts available

• Night starts between 18:00 - 02:00
• Any days of the week to work, 3 - 5 shifts available per week

Day pay rates

• Monday - Friday £16.63 (overtime after 47.5 hrs £18.71)
• Saturday £18.71
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £24.95

Nights pay rates

• Monday - Friday £19.00 (overtime after 47.5 hrs £21.38)
• Saturday £21.38
• Sunday and Bank Holidays £28.50

30-minute break deducted per shift only!

What we are looking for

• In date DIGI and CPC card
• Enthusiastic, reliable, helpful and organised individual.
• Willing to work weekends.
• Motivated and open to learn new skills.
• Demonstrates an excellent attitude to work.

Your role

• Driving within the WTD and EU regs and rules.
• Prepping vehicles for delivery.
• Completing vehicle checks.
• Refuelling vehicles.
• The driver must ensure that the highest levels of customer service are maintained on the round and orders are fulfilled on time and in full.
