HGV Class 1 Driver

Jaxdene Solutions are recruiting HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join our team in Huntingdon , working with a well-established and reputable client .

Rates of Pay

£17 - £23 per hour (LTD/PAYE available for day/night rate)
Overtime rates available (where applicable)
Weekly pay
Various start times and shift patterns to suit

Job Description

As a HGV Class 1 Driver, your duties will include:

Fridge deliveries to RDC's within the UK
No manual handling involved
Ensuring all deliveries are completed safely and on time
Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects
Adhering to all WTD, tachograph, and road safety regulations

Requirements

Valid UK C+E (Class 1) Licence
Minimum 1 year HGV driving experience
Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements)
Valid Driver CPC & Digital Tachograph Card
Good understanding of driver hours and regulations
