HGV Class 1 Driver

Overview

Position: Class 1 Driver (Night) - Temporary

Location: Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire

Salary: £17.00 - £20.00 per hour (varies by shift, PAYE only for some rates). This is a temporary role with potential for ongoing work or a permanent position.

Responsibilities

• Drive HGV Class 1 (C+E) - trunking to an RDC and store deliveries of cages
• Flexibility to work different contracts
• Ability to undertake manual handling

Requirements

• Valid HGV C+E Class 1 Driving Licence
• 6 months experience preferred but not essential
• Valid CPC Card
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Clean Driving Licence with no more than 6 points (no TT, TS, MS, DR, DD codes)

Shift Details

Start times: around 04:00 to 08:00. Shifts can be long but within tachograph limits (approximately 10-12 hours per shift).
