HGV Class 1 Driver

The key responsibilities of this position will include (but not limited to):

Multi-drop of products, within City Centre locations and country wide to our retail customers
To provide an effective, efficient and flexible service to our customers and colleagues through including timely deliveries.
Scanning in and out of cages to ensure accurate records of cage inventory
Accurate administration and adherence to EU Transport Legislation
To check and complete all invoices and paperwork on time & in spec
To check & report loads / products and vehicles for defects
To adhere to all Basic Food Safety & HACCP requirements (training provided)
To build excellent customer relationships
Vehicles to be maintained in a roadworthy condition with any defects being reported to the Managers on a daily basis
To adhere to all Health & Safety legislation
Ensure route and customer knowledge
To adhere to assigned route schedule
Flexibility is required for this role
12 month rota is given in advance

essential:

Multi drop delivery experience
Full clean C+E class Licence
CPC up to date Qualification
12 months experience in a class 1 role
Good geographical knowledge of NI
Knowledge of EU Transport Legislation.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work to set deadlines and to self motivate.
Ability to work on own initiative.
Excellent customer service skills
