HGV Class 1 Driver

We are looking for day and night HGV Class 1 drivers - TEMP TO PERM

Various shift patterns available - Days/Nights/Weekends or Ad-Hoc

Required shift patterns: Thursday -Monday

Location: Leeds

Immediate start

Experience needed - valid licences and minimum 6 months Class 1 experience.

Rates:

Day rate: £18.00 per hour

Night Rate: £19.00 per hour

Saturday rate: Days £20.00 per hour

Saturday Nights: £21.00 per hour

Sunday Rate: Days £22.00 per hour

Sunday rate: Nights £23.50

Turbo Driving are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers with a minimum of 6 months experience to join a growing transport and logistics team in Leeds

The role :
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will:

Delivery of chilled products direct to stores and occasional RDC work
Caged and palletised stock
Retail store deliveries.
refrigerated work.
Conduct pre- and post-route vehicle checks and record via app
Adhere to road safety regulations and company policies
Ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods
curtain side and boxed trailers

About you :
As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you will have:

A valid UK Category C+E driving license
Up-to-date CPC and Digi-tacho cards
Max 6 points (no CD/IN/TT/DR)
Knowledge of driving regulations and compliance
A professional and customer-focused approach
Ideally have milk/store delivery experience; however full training will be provided
