HGV Class 1 Driver - Immediate Start

The Flexi Group are now recruiting Class 1 Drivers in Bedford for an immediate start & ongoing work!

Partnering with a national supermarket chain, we are looking for drivers to join the Flexi team! Having been the sole supplier for 5+ years, we can offer a friendly and flexible working environment, consistent shifts, and great pay & benefits!

Job Role:

Working for a leading supermarket chain, we are looking for drivers for both store deliveries and trunking of groceries.
A usual shift will consist of 1-3 store deliveries, you will be required to help tip both pallets and cages.
Shifts are usually planned for around 10-12 hours, but this could vary on the run you are given. A minimum of 8 hours is paid on every shift.
Start Time windows available : 03:00-06:00, 10:00-14:00, 18:00-22:00, 23:00-02:00

Rates/Benefits:

£50 New Starter Bonus
Monthly Performance Bonus
Rates increase with length of service
Breaks paid after completing 12 weeks
Overtime: Additional £7.50ph after 45 hours
Bank Holidays: Double the usual rate

PAYE Rates (holiday pay inclusive) :

Overtime is paid 45hrs +

Week 1-12:

Days (06:00-14:00) £19.05ph & Overtime £26.56ph
Backs (14:00-22:00) £19.89ph & Overtime £27.40ph
Nights (22:00-06:00) £22.34ph & Overtime £29.84ph

Week 12-27:

Days (06:00-14:00) £19.47ph & Overtime £27.14ph
Backs (14:00-22:00) £21.23ph & Overtime £28.91ph
Nights (22:00-06:00) £22.83ph & Overtime £30.50ph

Week 27 Onwards:

Days (06:00-14:00) £19.94ph & Overtime £27.61ph
Backs (14:00-22:00) £22.38ph & Overtime £30.05ph
Nights (22:00-06:00) £23.89ph & Overtime £31.56ph

Requirements:

6 months Class 1 experience
Valid CPC and DIGI Card
No more than 6 points and no driving bans
Store Delivery experience would be advantageous, but not essential
