HGV Class 1 driver
Wakefield.
£16.50 - £22.59ph
Rates increase after week 12 and 27.

Rapier Employment are currently seeking an HGV Class 1 driver for our busy client in Wakefield. This role will be long term ongoing for the right candidates.

Any shift to include a weekend day.

This role does require some manual handling of cages and tail lift work.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering to RDCs and stores.
  • Stores deliveries will be unloading using tail lift and cages.
  • Vehicle checks
  • Shift patterns to suit but a weekend shift is preferred.

Days

  • Days: 02:00 - 09:00 starts
  • £16.50- £17.85ph per hour PAYE
  • Over time after 8 hours

Nights

  • Nights: 13:00 - 21:00 starts
  • £18.82 - £22.59 per hour PAYE
  • Over time after 8 hours

Rates are the same Monday - Sunday.

The ideal candidate.

  • Held your HGV C+E licence for at least 6 months
  • "Can do" attitude
  • No DR10's No CD10's No IN10's - NO MORE THAN 6 POINTS
  • Digital Tachograph Card and CPC qualification
