Based in Basingstoke

Our client in Basingstoke is looking for a number of HGV1 drivers to join their team on an ad hoc basis making deliveries to a well established fast food chain across the UK.

As an Experienced HGV 1 Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods, utilising your core skills in commercial driving.

Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations.

Responsibilities
Operate HGV 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic regulations.
Ensure timely delivery of goods to designated locations while maintaining accurate delivery records.
Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
Unloading caged goods at delivery locations.
Communicate effectively with dispatch regarding delivery schedules and any issues.

Shifts:
Shifts available 7 days a week
Shifts are available day & night across a seven day a week operation.
Flexible shifts to suit you! If you are looking for only 1 day or 5 we have shifts for you!

Pay:
£24.01 Per Hour - Minimum 8 hour per pay
£58.94 bonus payable for working either Saturday or Saturday, paid twice for working both.
Annual bonuses available for long term ad hoc drivers.

Requirements
HGV1 Licence, CPC & Tacho Card Required
18 months class 1 experience required
