Herds Manager wanted.

Our long term employee and friend James has been our herds manager for over 30 years and in his tenure has seen our farm through three complete system changes. James has graciously agreed to assist the new candidate before his phased retirement to allow for a smooth transition.

We are looking for a committed Herds Manager to take control of our 8 Lely Milking Robots in the most beautiful setting of Looe in Cornwall. Milking 480 high yielding cows year round, rearing all our own replacements we strive for production, performance and animal welfare in modern well equipped facilities.

In return for your efforts, we offer a tremendous package of a three bedroom house close to the farm but also to schools and amenities, with the added bonus of being a stones throw away from stunning costal walks and beaches. Salary will be by negotiation and dependent on experience and skill sets namely AI, foot Trimming, Robotic milking experience (not essential but computer literacy a must) Software currently used Horizon, Uniform and Sense Time.

We are a forward-thinking family with a desire to keep pushing our business forward both in efficiency but also in growing our herd.
