Help to Claim Team Leader

The role of the Help to Claim Team Leader is to provide day-to-day management of frontline services, including telephone and digital services, across Leeds Citizens Advice & Law Centre (LCALC), with a particular focus on the Help to Claim Team. The post holder will lead, coach and motivate their team to deliver high-quality advice and an excellent service to clients.

The Team Leader will provide first-line management, support and supervision to the staff team. A key aspect of the role is ensuring that advice services are consistently accessible, responsive and of a high quality.

Previous people management experience is desirable; however, this role may also appeal to an experienced Adviser with strong technical knowledge who is looking to develop their leadership and people management skills while supporting the delivery of holistic advice services.

Excellent organisational and communication skills are essential, together with a solution-focused approach and the ability to motivate and develop others. A collaborative leadership style and a commitment to working with colleagues to achieve wider organisational objectives are also essential.
