Job Description
Nelly's is seeking a dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to join our crew. This position involves operating excavators, loaders, skid steers, and dozers to complete site work safely and effectively. Operators are responsible for daily machine checks, maintenance, and safe operation around team members and utilities.
Key Responsibilities- Operate excavators, loaders, dozers, and skid steers on active job sites
- Perform daily inspections, check fluids, and address any equipment issues
- Grease and clean machines regularly, maintaining equipment inside and out
- Safely dig and operate around laborers and underground utilities
- Understand and execute assigned site tasks each day
- 1-2 years of heavy equipment operating experience required
- Solid understanding of safe operating procedures and site work practices
- Ability to work independently while contributing to the Nelly's team
- Full-time position
- Standard workday begins at 6:30 AM
- Competitive pay starting at $33/hour, based on experience
