Job Title: Heating Engineer

Location: York, North Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 - £40,000 per annum + Overtime + Company Van

Hours: Full time, permanent. 40 hours per week, plus a weekend rota.

This is a great opportunity for an experienced Heating Engineer looking for a more organised, stable and well supported role.

We're working with a well established and reputable business in Malton, known for delivering high quality installation, servicing and maintenance work. With a strong and consistent pipeline of work, they are continuing to grow and are now looking to add to their engineering team.

The role offers a well planned workload, sensible scheduling and the support of an experienced office team, allowing you to focus on doing the job properly without unnecessary disruption.

You'll be joining a business that values its engineers, takes pride in its high standards and offers genuine long term stability.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out the installation, servicing and maintenance of heating systems including gas appliances. Experience with LPG and oil systems is desirable.
• Diagnose faults and complete repairs efficiently, ensuring minimal disruption to customers.
• Deliver both planned maintenance and reactive repair work to a high standard.
• Ensure all work is completed in line with current health and safety regulations and industry standards.
• Maintain accurate job records and compliance documentation.

Experience Required

• Proven experience working as a Heating Engineer.
• Valid gas qualifications are essential; oil and LPG qualifications are desirable. Gas Safe registration is preferred.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong fault finding and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills with a customer focused approach.
