More About Your Role- This role is to deliver sessions in the community, not within our Leisure centres.
- Set up and manage a range of sustainable Healthy Communities projects/programmes that deliver measurable impact for communities outside our Leisure Centres in Northumberland, focusing on tackling health inequalities and inequalities of access.
- Complete any monitoring and evaluation requested by line manager in line with current data protection protocols
- In line with relevant training / qualifications held, deliver specific Healthy Communties projects/ programmes, e.g. Exercise Referral, Falls prevention, Mams on the Move, Group exercise sessions, Activities for young people, according to the parameters discussed with line manager.
- Qualified instructor in relevant in relevant discipline to deliver sessions independently i.e. Fitness Instructor, Exercise Referral, Coaching, Group Exercise, Pre-Post Natal - recognised by relevant governing bodies, such as: CIMSPA.
- Experienced in planning, delivering and monitoring sessions.
- Passion for improving the health of the local community.
- Ability to use MS tools.
- Full UK Driving License and willingness to drive a community van.
