Healthcare Support Worker

At InHealth, we are continuing to grow and are looking for a compassionate and motivated Healthcare Support Worker to join our Endoscopy team at our static site in Witney. You will play a key role in supporting the delivery of high quality endoscopy services, working within a patient centred model of care that recognises the psychological, physical, and social needs of every individual.

Job responsibilities

• Welcoming patients in a professional and caring manner, acting as a patient advocate at all times
• Supporting patient care in line with care plans, under the guidance of the senior clinical team
• Cleaning, monitoring, and preparing equipment, reporting any issues promptly
• Recording and communicating relevant patient information and observations
• Maintaining clear, effective communication with patients, relatives, and the multidisciplinary team

• A good understanding of health & safety and infection control
• Flexible and adaptable to meet service and site requirements
• Committed to learning, development, and maintaining required skills and competencies
• An effective communicator with strong time and workload management skills
