My client in the Healthcare sector based in Co. Longford is currently looking to hire an Operations Manager to join their team.

This is a permanent job.

As Operations Manager, you will oversee the operations, ensuring the facility runs efficiently. You will work closely with the Regional Director and healthcare professionals to drive operational excellence, lead the administration team, and support the continued growth of the facility.

Key duties & responsibilities:

• Lead the daily operations.
• Manage and develop the administrative team, including recruitment, training, performance, and rostering.
• Improve access, appointment systems, and workflows.
• Support facility programmes through effective recalls and follow up systems.
• Maintain high standards of governance, compliance, billing, financial control, and quality improvement.
• Operational duties as instructed by the Regional Director.

What are we looking for?

• At least 3 years in operations in a GP practice/healthcare environment.
• Ability & experience in leading a large team.
• Commercial awareness with experience managing budgets, workflows, and performance.
• Strong organisational, planning, and problem solving skills.
• Attention to detail is imperative.
• Strong communication skills - fluency in English written & oral.
• Strong IT/computer skills/CRM systems experience.
