Healthcare Assistant

Queensway Hospital, part of the specialist Ellern Mede Group, is seeking compassionate, motivated Healthcare Assistants to join our multidisciplinary team providing high-quality, trauma-informed inpatient care for adults with complex mental health needs.

Our service supports individuals with significant emotional, behavioural, and relational difficulties who may not be effectively supported in traditional hospital environments. As a Healthcare Assistant, you will play a vital role in delivering safe, person-centred care that promotes dignity, recovery, and independence.

This is a rewarding and challenging role where no two days are the same. You will receive a comprehensive induction and ongoing training in trauma-informed practice, autism-informed care, and Prevention and Management of Violence and Aggression (PMVA), enabling you to develop specialist skills within a supportive clinical environment.
