We are recruiting Healthcare Assistants to join a privately owned, stand-alone residential care service in Allendale, Northumberland. With over 30 years' experience, the service provides specialist care for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs, supporting 13 residents with both long-term placements and short-term respite stays when beds are available.

This is an opportunity to work in a close-knit, family-run environment where residents' individuality is celebrated, and staff have the time to provide attentive, person-centred care.

Your Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, person-centred care
  • Support residents with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Promote independence, dignity, and choice
  • Assist with mobility, emotional support, and wellbeing
  • Maintain accurate care records
  • Engage residents in meaningful activities and social interaction
What We're Looking For
  • Previous care experience preferred
  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Health & Social Care preferred
  • A compassionate, patient, and professional approach
  • Good communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for supporting adults with learning disabilities
